Pageantry Sound
Sound Design & Consulting for the Pageantry Arts
Alex Brinkley
Owner & Sound Designer
Since 2011, I (Alex Brinkley) have done sound design and consulting for over thirty for BOA, WGI, and DCI shows from across the United States. This includes recording vocal samples, narration, creating original sound effects to work with existing music, programming synthesizers, as well as consulting on mixing consoles, speakers, and other electronics.
It started by helping my high school's ensemble when I was still a member. When my audio work got my school's composer, David Reeves, he recommended me to the other ensembles he wrote for.
To continue to grow my work in the pageantry arts, I started Pageantry Sound in 2016.
Currently, I am studying music composition and audio production at Columbia College Chicago, and I am actively building a career as a composer for films, video games, and other media. I marched three years of Drum Corps, aging out in 2016 with Phantom Regiment.
